If you would like to know a bit more about me…
01/ Design expertise
Human-centered design
Graduating with honors in Product Design from Parsons School of Design as the top 1% of my class, I have developed a deep understanding of human-centered design that extends beyond serving end-users. I focus on creating top-notch products while empowering my peers and myself to reach our full potential. I’ve collaborated with teammates to earn 3 international design awards. Teamwork is my superpower, enabling me to consistently deliver exceptional designs.
Visual, Brand, and Interaction
3 years in my career, I worked as a product designer at agencies specializing in visual(brand) systems and interaction design. I collaborated with over 12 global clients to establish and enhance their brand visual identity while designing interactive products and experiences. This included world-class institutions and brands such as the New York University Abu Dhabi Book and Adidas' first interactive space in APAC. Working with brands of various scales taught me that a systematic approach to product development is essential for business longevity and scalability—a principle that later shaped my expertise in design systems.
02/ Self-driven innovator
Entrepreneurship
In 2022, I co-founded a design studio helped small businesses establishing brand through consistent visual language. I’ve led multiple successful projects, crafted brand visions, mentored designers, demonstrated the business value of design. The experience solidified my design vision not only to consider from designer's perspective but also holistically as a business.
Upskilling
I'm naturally curious and enjoy experimenting with tools and exploring new ideas. I dedicate at least a quarter of my weekends to learning or honing hard skills, extending my focus beyond design tools. Building expertise in diverse software has significantly enhanced my work efficiency and improved communication with colleagues. I take a focused approach, mastering one tool at a time and continually refining my skills for long-term growth. Below are some examples of creations using tools outside my daily responsibilities.
03/ Engineering enthusiast
I’m not satisfied with just creating mockups and prototypes—I’m eager to make things work. This drive led me to pursue a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from New York University, where I spent two years immersing myself in the life of a developer. I naturally collaborate with engineers, speaking their language and understanding their challenges. When they’re busy, I step up to ensure things get done.
